Paul, a native of Derry, turned professional in 2005 and completed his PGA training as the assistant professional at Black Bush Golf Club, just a few miles up the road in Dunshaughlin. Following a three year spell in Birr, Co. Offaly he was appointed Head Golf Professional at Killeen Castle in April, 2011 and he has taken over the management of our golf shop, coaching and golf services departments.
"I was working in Black Bush during the construction and development of Killeen Castle and watched its transformation into a world class golf course. When the opportunity came about to work here I jumped at it. I joined the club at a very exciting time for Killeen Castle, the Ladies Irish Open attracted 28,000 spectators and the Solheim Cup upwards of 80,000, which shows the kind of appeal this place has."
Paul brings a wealth of experience in the golfing world and from the pro shop to the practice ground he can cater for all of your golfing needs. Our online shop has just been launched and we can now provide customers from all over the world with a taste of Killeen Castle."
