The overall development of Killeen Castle will be graced by an international 5-star Starwood “Luxury Collection” hotel, opening in 2011 for the Solheim Cup. The hotel will be located in and around a 7th century abbey and a beautifully restored 12th century castle. The latter has been the subject of an extraordinary restoration exercise which has taken years to complete.
