Wedding Brochure

Weddings don't just organise themselves... although with Geraldine, Millie and all the staff at Killeen castle, they very nearly do! They made the whole experience of planning a wedding and liaising with the venue a dream. Every detail was thoughtfully executed, they suggested changes to improve the flow of the day and were all around a pleasure to deal with. Couldn't recommend them enough. Thank you so much for everything.

Shauna & John, August 2026

“Hi Geraldine, I just wanted to thank you for everything last weekend and throughout the planning process. You guys made our wedding run so smoothly and we are so grateful for how helpful you all were. The day was absolutely amazing, even better than I imagined. Thank you again for everything ! “

Katie & Bennett, July 2026

We had the most incredible wedding day at Killeen Castle! From our beautiful outdoor ceremony to the stunning reception, every detail was absolutely perfect. The historic castle provided a spectacular backdrop, while the beautiful abbey ruins and charming walled gardens created so many memorable locations for our photographs. The entire estate was presented immaculately, it felt private, peaceful and incredibly special - the perfect setting to celebrate with our family and friends. Planning our wedding from abroad felt so easy thanks to Geraldine and Millie, who were always supportive and reassuring throughout the entire process. They genuinely cared about making our day special, and their attention to detail made everything feel completely stress-free. The food was amazing, beautifully presented and enjoyed by everyone, our guests are still talking about it! The entire team made us and our guests feel so welcome, ensuring everything ran seamlessly from beginning to end. We loved every moment of our wedding day and couldn’t recommend Killeen Castle, its magnificent setting and the wonderful team highly enough!

Amy & Daniel, June 2026

“We were lucky enough to host our guests and stay on property for 3 nights. Not only was the entire staff friendly and on top of it, all of the meals we had were amazing. Murat and team do an excellent job! Phillip, Geraldine, and Millie made the entire wedding day a breeze for us. We are so thankful for the attention to detail and the way they treated all of our guests. Sanju did an outstanding job throughout dinner service making sure everyone in the group was well taken care of and orchestrating the evening. Cormac was beyond caring for 20 golfers that got to play a one of a kind course the day prior to the wedding. He made it an even better experience! We cannot be more thankful to everyone at Killeen and are already ready to come back!”

Hannah & Brady, June 2026

Geraldine, I have meaning to send this email for a couple of weeks now, but life has been busy post-wedding! I wanted to reach out and say a HUGE thank you to yourself, Millie, Sanju, Ritchie and all of the team that made our weekend so special. I appreciate all of the emails back & forth, all of the random bits & bobs we popped in and out with and most of all the support of knowing you had it all under control!! We had the most unforgettable weekend and it's thanks to the team @ Killeen.

Sarah Jayne & Ben, May 2026

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding venue. The setting itself is absolutely stunning, and so many of our guests have since commented on how beautiful the grounds and venue were. It truly made our day unforgettable, and we’re already looking forward to returning for a future anniversary. From start to finish, the entire team delivered an exceptional experience. A special thank you to Geraldine, Sanju, Murat, Phillip, and the extended team for their incredible support. Geraldine’s expertise in event management shone through at every stage, ensuring everything ran seamlessly. On the day itself, Sanju was outstanding—attentive, proactive, and always exactly where he needed to be. He handled everything with calm professionalism, from coordinating the reception to assisting after the dinner speeches and keeping the energy of the celebration going. We genuinely felt that every detail was taken care of. The team worked effortlessly with all our suppliers and even embraced our DIY elements with enthusiasm and professionalism, which meant so much to us. The catering and service teams were also fantastic—our guests are still talking about how delicious the food was, and the service was impeccable throughout (no empty glasses in sight!). We were also incredibly grateful for the thoughtful support from the reception staff, who went above and beyond to assist family members with mobility needs, helping arrange transport and ensuring everyone could comfortably enjoy the day. Overall, we were absolutely delighted with how smoothly everything ran. Any small issues were handled quickly and discreetly, without us ever needing to worry. The entire team created such a relaxed and joyful atmosphere, allowing us to fully enjoy every moment. We would wholeheartedly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a truly exceptional wedding experience.

Anna & Matthew, February 2026

Truly Amazing! We had the most amazing wedding day and stayed here at Killeen Castle. It was love at first sight with this venue! From the entrance into the golf course to the pavilion to the walled garden and the guest lodges, it was truly breathtaking! Some of our guests played golf the day before, while others relaxed and walked around the many acres of grounds. The staff, especially Geraldine, Lisa and Philip, were so kind and accommodating from the moment we went to view the venue. They are truly a fantastic team and were with us every step of the way and all through the wedding day, making sure that every detail, big or small, was dealt with in making our day so special. The food was so delicious and all of our guests were full of compliments thanks to Declan, the master chef! We had so much fun for our two days, making fabulous memories. We can honestly say that it was the best day of our lives, and we would not change a single thing thanks to all involved. We are so happy we chose Killeen Castle to celebrate and we will be talking about it for years to come.

Lynn & Carl, September 2025

We could not be happier with our choice of venue for our big day. The venue was incredible, photos and videos came out amazing. Geraldine, Sanju and the entire team were so attentive and made sure everything ran smoothly, making it such an enjoyable and non-stressful day for us. Our friends and family still harp on about the service and venue itself. Thanks to the whole team in Killeen, who made our day so special. From the small details to the larger main events, we couldn't have asked for more.

Sarah & Stephen, August 2025

Wedding was better than we could have imagined| We booked in February for our June 14th wedding, and all I can say is WOW! Geraldine and the team supported us throughout everything. We had an amazing day, and it went so smoothly that we were able to fully enjoy it and be present for it!

Femke & Conor, June 2025

Geraldine & the entire team at Killeen Castle were nothing short of exceptional. The entire process leading up to the wedding was made so seamless and easy. Any questions or concerns we had were answered and dealt with straight away. Geraldine gave us so much help and advice in the planning, as we are based in the US, so planning a wedding from abroad can be tricky. It’s clear her experience and expertise in the wedding industry shine through, and she is truly passionate about her job! As for the day of the wedding, Geraldine & the team could not have done more for us. The entire day was a dream. From the staff taking breakfast over to the bridal accommodation, to Geraldine spending some time with me to reassure me everything was taken care of, I knew I didn’t need to worry about a single thing. The room where our ceremony took place was magical. Beyond our wildest dreams, it was ready and waiting for us. Every staff member genuinely looked so happy for us, and they kept congratulating us throughout the day and complimenting us, although it was we who were trying to compliment them more! Every one of our guests has still been talking about the wedding. From the venue itself, to the food, to the staff, it was beyond perfect. They helped capture our vision in the best way, and we are so incredibly lucky to have been able to have our wedding at Killeen Castle. We can’t wait to come back and visit them whenever we take a trip back to Ireland!

Casey & Dalton, June 2025

We had our wedding at Killeen Castle and it truly exceeded all our expectations. The venue itself is absolutely stunning. From the moment you arrive, you're surrounded by breath-taking scenery and the function rooms were dressed to perfection for the big day. The attention to detail in the décor created such an elegant and romantic atmosphere. The food was another standout. Every dish was beautifully presented and exceptional in taste. Our guests are still talking about how nice the food was. The reception, waiting and bar staff were also amazing. They were so friendly, efficient and really added to the relaxed, celebratory atmosphere. Throughout the planning process, Geraldine was a joy to work with. She made everything feel seamless and stress-free, always on hand with great advice and a calm, reassuring and enthusiastic presence. On the day (and leading up to it), Sanju was fantastic, friendly, approachable and an absolute rock in making sure everything ran smoothly. We also have to mention Murat. He kept everything running like clockwork and had some excellent wine recommendations that really impressed our guests. Philip was another key figure. A true professional and an excellent host, he was incredibly helpful with everything from start to finish, especially when it came to after-service. As for the accommodations, the guest bedrooms are finished to a very high standard - modern, stylish, extremely comfortable. The Rose Cottage is the perfect blend of timeless elegance and luxury, making for a truly special experience. We couldn't have asked for a better venue or a more dedicated team. Killeen Castle made our wedding day unforgettable, and we are so grateful to everyone who helped make it so magical.

Ann & Clive , May 2025

Our wedding at Killeen Castle was a dream and far surpassed our expectations from beginning to end, everything ran smoothly and seamlessly. The venue itself is stunning (the castle grounds, walled garden, water fountain, church ruin, Shamrock on the 1st hole etc.) and incredibly well maintained by the groundskeeping team. The pictures we have got back so far are gorgeous, there were so many spots to get great pictures, and we were given golf carts to easily get around the grounds (drone shots we haven't got back yet, but can't wait to see as the videographer seemed very impressed with them). So many of the guests raved about how delicious all the food served throughout the entire day was (I particularly loved the beef), the evening food was just as good as the canapes and main dinner, which is saying something. The staff were just brilliant and always on hand to help with even the smallest details. The lodges and cottages were perfect accommodation, providing plenty of space, walk-in showers, shared living room/ kitchen areas for families and friends to gather in the morning after or at the end of the night. The team were so accommodating when it came to any of our requests (of which there was many !) and we able to do everything we had hoped (cold sparks, glow sticks etc.), everything that was planned was executed by the staff on the day to a T - which was all the more impressive because we there were so many small details to remember. Also, the demeanour of the main points of contact we had (Geraldine and Philip) was exceptional, beyond the quality of their work, they themselves were so personable and a joy to work with. There was more than ample parking right next to the lodges/ walled garden, which made it easy for guests to find their way since we had our ceremony in the walled garden, and then guests were able to easily find their way to the reception area. If we could do everything over again... another 10 times... we would pick Killeen again 10 more times.

Once again, we had an absolutely lovely time at our wedding. We couldn’t have asked for more. None of that would have been possible without all the effort put in by you and your team. So thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts

Killeen Castle is a hidden gem. From our initial meeting to our wedding- everything was so easy. The personal touch from all of the staff was second to none. Every time we visited prior to the wedding, they all knew us by name & you could tell they were so excited for our special day. I have to say, Killeen Castle just has it all. The venue is beautiful, amazing food, excellent staff & overall just top notch. A number of our other wedding suppliers commented on how accommodating the staff were & how everything was so easily done with no stress. Our guests complimented the food & the staff. Honestly it was just the best day. Philip and Geraldine were so professional. It’s so lovely having a team that are excited to celebrate you as a couple. Everything was flawless. Killeen Castle is absolutely magic & made our day a truly unforgettable one.

To all the team at Killeen Castle, thank you so much for hosting our wedding venue! Thank you to Amanda, Lisa and Philip for organising it, and Faith, Grace, and the rest of the hospitality team for being so professional and nice with us and our family. Thank you so much for giving us such a wonderful day on 5th August. We couldn’t have asked for a better day! Your team was amazing to deal with from start to finish and you did everything possible to make our day so special. We really appreciate all your hard work. Killeen Castle is an outstanding venue with beautiful surrounds and immaculately kept grounds. It is easy to see why we fell in love with it from Day 1! We were so happy that we chose Killeen to hold our wedding! The food was amazing on the day and the staff so helpful and friendly. The icing on the cake was having the accommodation completed for our guests. We got such great compliments on the day from our guests and this is down to the team at Killeen. We would definitely recommend Killeen Castle as a wedding venue. With all our best wishes for the future.

The wedding venue of dreams! Killeen Castle is absolutely stunning and the staff is incredible. My now husband and I were living and planning our wedding from NYC… Ruth made planning overseas such a breeze. They were extremely accommodating of our ridiculous requests and cannot believe how smoothly the whole day went. The lodges are lush and the way they are set up was just perfect for our wedding party to get ready in. My makeup artist loved all the natural light we had!! We decided to choose the walled gardens for our ceremony and had the reception in the clubhouse. The castle itself is still undergoing renovations but we were still able to get some gorgeous photos in front of it. The food was absolutely fabulous and our guests were blown away by the views. We feel so fortunate that we were able to book this place and host such a magical event. We are already planning our next stay.
