Step away from the rush of everyday life and wander into the calm of the ancient woodland walks at Killeen Castle. Meander along peaceful forest paths beneath centuries-old trees, breathe in the fresh country air, and let the quiet rhythm of nature set the pace. Whether you’re seeking a gentle morning stroll, a mindful escape, or simply space to think, our designated walking trails offer a chance to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy the natural beauty of the estate at your own leisure.
To ensure that everyone can enjoy the estate safely and respectfully, walkers are asked to follow our Walkers Policy. As a private estate with residential homes, an active championship golf course, hospitality facilities and ongoing operational areas, access is limited to clearly designated walking routes and public-access areas only. The policy outlines expectations around general conduct, parking, dogs (which must be on a lead at all times), bicycle use, visibility in low light, and strict restrictions regarding residential zones, the golf course, construction areas and motorised vehicles. All visits are undertaken at the individual’s own risk, and access remains subject to the discretion of the proprietors. We greatly appreciate your cooperation in helping us protect the safety, privacy and character of the estate for residents, members, guests and fellow visitors alike.
