Killeen Castle Estate is pleased to welcome patrons who wish to enjoy our designated walking trails and hospitality facilities. As a private estate with residential, golf, hospitality and operational activities, it is important that all visitors adhere to the following policy to ensure safety, respect, and enjoyment for all.
Access to the Estate is conditional upon compliance with this policy. The proprietors reserve the right to amend, restrict or revoke access at any time and at their sole discretion.

1. General Conduct
All patrons are expected to behave in a courteous and respectful manner at all times. This includes showing consideration for residents, members, guests, staff, contractors and other visitors, and respecting the natural environment, facilities and infrastructure of the Estate.
2. Residential Areas
Killeen Castle is home to private residences.
Residential areas are strictly private.
Walking, loitering, access or parking in residential areas is not permitted.
Patrons must remain on designated walking routes and public-access areas only.
We respectfully ask that the privacy and quiet enjoyment of our residents be fully observed at all times.
3. Golf Course and Adjoining Areas
The championship golf course and its adjoining paths are operational sporting facilities.
Access to the golf course and adjoining paths is strictly limited to:
Golf Club members
Visiting golf guests on their scheduled day of play only
Access by all other parties - including residents, lodge guests, walkers, cyclists and members of the public - is not permitted at the time.
This restriction is in place for safety, insurance and course presentation reasons and is non-negotiable.
4. Car Parking
Patrons availing of the walking trails must park only in designated parking areas.
Parking in residential areas, roadways, verges or restricted zones is not permitted.
All vehicles are parked entirely at the owner’s risk.
The proprietors accept no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to vehicles or their contents.
5. Dogs
Dogs are welcome on the Estate subject to the following conditions:
Dogs must be kept under control and on a lead at all times.
All dog waste must be bagged and removed from the Estate.
Owners are fully responsible for the behaviour of their dogs at all times.
The provisions of the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 (as amended) apply in full.
Dogs are not permitted within the Cranmore Pavilion or other indoor hospitality facilities.
Failure to comply with these requirements may result in access being revoked.
6. Motorised Vehicles and Bicycles
Motorised vehicles, including but not limited to:
Go-karts
Quad bikes
Electric scooters
Mini-motorbikes are strictly prohibited anywhere on the Estate.
Bicycles are permitted on appropriate routes.
Cyclists must:
Act courteously at all times
Be mindful of pedestrians and vehicular traffic
Travel at safe and appropriate speeds
When availing of hospitality services, bicycles must be neatly secured in the designated bike stands.
7. Access to the Cranmore Pavilion
Patrons are encouraged to enjoy the hospitality services available at the Cranmore Pavilion.
Appropriate attire is requested at all times.
Dogs are not permitted within the Cranmore Pavilion.
Advanced reservations are strongly advised.

8. Visibility and Low-Light Conditions
For personal safety:
Patrons walking during periods of low light or reduced visibility must wear high-visibility clothing.
Appropriate personal lighting (e.g. torches or headlamps) is strongly recommended.
9. Construction, Maintenance and Restricted Areas
Access to or through construction zones, maintenance areas or operational compounds is strictly prohibited.
These areas present inherent safety risks and must be avoided at all times.
10. Insurance, Risk and Liability
All walking, recreational and leisure activities on the Estate are undertaken entirely at the individual’s own risk.
The proprietors accept no liability for injury, loss or damage howsoever caused, save where required by law.
By entering the Estate, patrons acknowledge and accept these conditions in full.
11. Private Property and Right of Refusal
Killeen Castle Estate is private property.
While we are pleased to facilitate walking access and hospitality services, such access is:
Subject to the conditions outlined in this policy
Not a public right-of-way
Revocable at any time, without notice, at the sole discretion of the proprietors
