The HotelPlanner Tour Irish Challenge Returns to Killeen Castle
Following the tremendous success of 2025's tournament, Killeen Castle is proud to welcome the HotelPlanner Tour Irish Challenge back for a second consecutive year from 13th - 16th August 2026. Set on the spectacular Jack Nicklaus Signature Course, the event promises another unforgettable week of championship golf, showcasing some of the most exciting emerging talent in the game.
As part of the HotelPlanner Tour (formerly the Challenge Tour), the Irish Challenge has long been recognised as a proving ground for future golfing stars. The tour has helped launch the careers of major champions and Ryder Cup players including Tommy Fleetwood, Brooks Koepka, and the most recently crowned Open Champion Ryan Fox, with many competitors going on to enjoy success on the DP World Tour and the world's biggest stages.
At Killeen Castle, we're especially proud to support the game at every level. Our own Touring Ambassador, John Gough, recently captured his maiden HotelPlanner Tour title at the Blot Play9 in Pléneuf, France, a fantastic achievement that highlights both his talent and the calibre of golf professionals at Killeen Castle. His success makes this year's Irish Challenge even more meaningful, reinforcing our commitment to developing and celebrating excellence in the sport
